Julian Hearst

Julian Hearst is a 32-year-old singer-songwriter and guitarist from Brooklyn whose indie rock project draws heavily from the post-punk revival era. After spending his twenties playing in various NYC bands, Hearst went solo in 2023, crafting introspective songs about urban alienation and the changing landscape of his longtime neighborhood. His guitar work combines jangly melodies with driving rhythms, while his lyrics tackle themes of gentrification, relationships, and finding authenticity in an increasingly digital world.
